Αύριο η κρίσιμη απόφαση της UNESCO για τον Όλυμπο – Κρίνεται η ένταξή του στον Κατάλογο Παγκόσμιας Κληρονομιάς
Η 48η Σύνοδος της Επιτροπής Παγκόσμιας Κληρονομιάς της UNESCO αναμένεται να αποφασίσει αύριο, στην πόλη Μπουσάν της Νότιας Κορέας (στις 06:00 ώρα Ελλάδας), εάν ο Όλυμπος θα αναγνωρισθεί ως φυσικό και πολιτιστικό αγαθό εξέχουσας οικουμενικής αξίας για την ανθρωπότητα. Η ελληνική αντιπροσωπεία, η οποία αποτελείται από εμπειρογνώμονες του υπουργείου Πολιτισμού και του Οργανισμού Φυσικού Περιβάλλοντος και Κλιματικής Αλλαγής (ΟΦΥΠΕΚΑ) του υπουργείου Περιβάλλοντος και Ενέργειας, με επικεφαλής τον μόνιμο αντιπρόσωπο της Ελλάδας στην UNESCO, Γιώργο Κουμουτσάκο, συνεχίζει τις τελευταίες ημέρες τις εντατικές επαφές της στο πλαίσιο της Συνόδου, με στόχο την επίτευξη της εγγραφής του Ολύμπου στον σχετικό κατάλογο του Οργανισμού. Μια τέτοια εξέλιξη θα αποτελούσε σημαντική επιτυχία για την Ελλάδα, με πολλαπλές θετικές προεκτάσεις τόσο για την προστασία του μοναδικού φυσικού περιβάλλοντος του βουνού όσο και για την ανάδειξη της πολιτιστικής του σημασίας σε παγκόσμιο επίπεδο. Η προσπάθεια της ελληνικής πλευράς δεν περιορίστηκε στις τελευταίες ημέρες στη Νότια Κορέα, αλλά έχει ξεκινήσει εδώ και εβδομάδες. Ο κ. Κουμουτσάκος είχε σειρά επαφών με εκπροσώπους πολλών χωρών, προκειμένου να διασφαλιστεί η θετική έκβαση της διαδικασίας. Σημειώνεται ότι κατά τα προηγούμενα στάδια αξιολόγησης είχαν διατυπωθεί από τα τεχνοκρατικά όργανα της UNESCO ορισμένες επιφυλάξεις, κυρίως για τεχνικά ζητήματα, με αποτέλεσμα να θεωρείται ότι η υποψηφιότητα δεν ήταν ακόμη πλήρως ώριμη για εγγραφή. Ωστόσο, οι τελευταίες πληροφορίες από το Μπουσάν αναφέρουν ότι το κλίμα έχει μεταβληθεί θετικά και επικρατεί αισιοδοξία για την τελική έκβαση της ψηφοφορίας. Σε δήλωσή του, ο κ. Κουμουτσάκος ανέφερε:«Στην ελληνική ομάδα κάνουμε ό,τι είναι εφικτό για τη δικαίωση των προσδοκιών πολλών ανθρώπων στην πατρίδα, έχοντας ταυτόχρονα την πεποίθηση ότι ο Όλυμπος και η ιστορία χιλιάδων χρόνων που τον περιβάλλει ανήκουν όχι μόνο στην Ελλάδα και στον Ελληνισμό, αλλά και στον οικουμενικό πολιτισμό». Δεύτερη κατάρριψη drone από την Υεμένη από την ελληνική πυροβολαρχία Patriot
Η πυροβολαρχία κατευθυνόμενων βλημάτων Patriot της Ελληνικής Δύναμης Σαουδικής Αραβίας, προχώρησε, σήμερα, Σάββατο 25 Ιουλίου στις 17:05 ώρα Ελλάδας, σύμφωνα με τους ισχύοντες κανόνες εμπλοκής, στην επιτυχή κατάρριψη ενός ακόμη Μη Επανδρωμένου Αεροχήματος (UAV) στην περιοχή Γιανμπού, το οποίο προερχόταν από Υεμένη. Υπενθυμίζεται ότι η πυροβολαρχία κατευθυνόμενων βλημάτων Patriot της Ελληνικής Δύναμης Σαουδικής Αραβίας είχε προχωρήσει, νωρίτερα σήμερα, (ώρα Ελλάδας 11:10), στην επιτυχή κατάρριψη Μη Επανδρωμένου Αεροχήματος (UAV) στην περιοχή Γιανμπού. Σχετική είδηση: Οι ελληνικοί Patriot στη Σαουδική Αραβία κατέρριψαν και drone από την Υεμένη μετά τους πυραύλους Σύμφωνα με στρατιωτικά πηγές, το UAV προερχόταν από Υεμένη. Το πρωί του Σαββάτου (στις 07:15 ώρα Ελλάδας), η πυροβολαρχία κατευθυνόμενων βλημάτων της Ελληνικής Δύναμης Σαουδικής Αραβίας είχε καταρρίψει δύο βαλλιστικούς πυραύλους προερχόμενους από την Υεμένη. Η επίθεση, σύμφωνα με στρατιωτικές πηγές, είχε ως στόχο σημαντικότατη εγκατάσταση διυλιστηρίων στην περιοχή Γιανμπού, όπου είναι ανεπτυγμένη η ελληνική Πυροβολαρχία. Η Ελληνική Δύναμη Σαουδικής Αραβίας, όπως τονίζεται από στρατιωτικές πηγές, συνεχίζει κανονικά την αποστολή της, στο πλαίσιο της συμμετοχής της στη διεθνή πρωτοβουλία «Integrated Air Missile Defense Concept» για την υποστήριξη της αεράμυνας του Βασιλείου της Σαουδικής Αραβίας. www.ertnews.gr
