Κεντρική Μακεδονία: Έκτακτο δελτίο της ΕΜΥ για έντονες βροχές, καταιγίδες και μπουρίνια
Σημαντική επιδείνωση του καιρού προβλέπεται από την Παρασκευή 24 Ιουλίου έως και τις προμεσημβρινές ώρες του Σαββάτου 25 Ιουλίου, σύμφωνα με έκτακτο δελτίο επικίνδυνων καιρικών φαινομένων που εξέδωσε η Εθνική Μετεωρολογική Υπηρεσία (ΕΜΥ). Για την Κεντρική Μακεδονία προβλέπονται ισχυρές βροχές και καταιγίδες από τις προμεσημβρινές ώρες της Παρασκευής έως αργά το βράδυ. Τα φαινόμενα αναμένεται να επηρεάσουν τους νομούς Θεσσαλονίκης, Χαλκιδικής, Πιερίας και Ημαθίας, ενώ η ΕΜΥ έχει εκδώσει πορτοκαλί προειδοποίηση για την περιοχή. Σύμφωνα με τον μετεωρολόγο της ΕΡΤ3, Χρυσόστομο Παρανό, τα πρώτα φαινόμενα θα εκδηλωθούν από τις πρωινές ώρες στη Μακεδονία και στη συνέχεια θα επεκταθούν νοτιότερα και ανατολικότερα, καλύπτοντας σχεδόν ολόκληρη τη χώρα έως το βράδυ της Παρασκευής. Εξαίρεση θα αποτελέσουν τα Δωδεκάνησα, η Κρήτη και το ανατολικό Αιγαίο. Ισχυρές βροχοπτώσεις προβλέπονται επίσης στο Βόρειο Αιγαίο, τη Θάσο, τη Λήμνο και τη Σαμοθράκη κατά τις βραδινές ώρες της Παρασκευής. Από το μεσημέρι και μετά τα φαινόμενα θα ενταθούν στην ανατολική Θεσσαλία, κυρίως στις παράκτιες περιοχές της Λάρισας, στη Μαγνησία και στις Σποράδες, ενώ από το απόγευμα θα επηρεάσουν τη Φθιώτιδα, τη Βοιωτία, την Αττική, συμπεριλαμβανομένης της Αθήνας, καθώς και την Εύβοια. Πρόκειται για τις περιοχές όπου, σύμφωνα με τα προγνωστικά στοιχεία, αναμένεται να καταγραφούν τα μεγαλύτερα ύψη βροχής. Οι καταιγίδες κατά τόπους θα συνοδεύονται από ισχυρούς ανέμους (μπουρίνια), μεγάλη συχνότητα κεραυνών και πιθανές τοπικές χαλαζοπτώσεις. Στο Ιόνιο θα φτάσουν τοπικά τα 8 μποφόρ, ενώ από το μεσημέρι της Παρασκευής οι ισχυροί άνεμοι θα επεκταθούν και στο Αιγαίο. Στον Θερμαϊκό Κόλπο οι εντάσεις αναμένεται να αγγίξουν επίσης τα 8 μποφόρ, ενώ στο Βόρειο Αιγαίο και το Θρακικό θα πνέουν άνεμοι έως 7 μποφόρ, οι οποίοι σταδιακά θα επηρεάσουν και τις Κυκλάδες. Οι ισχυροί άνεμοι αναμένεται να διατηρηθούν και το Σάββατο, με εντάσεις 7 έως 8 μποφόρ τόσο στο Ιόνιο όσο και στο Αιγαίο. Ένας αμερικανικός πύραυλος έπληξε νωρίτερα το ιρανικό νησί Κεσμ, κοντά στα Στενά του Ορμούζ, μετέδωσε το πρακτορείο Tasnim. «Μετά την επίθεση του αμερικανού εχθρού, ένας πύραυλος έπεσε στα παράλια της πόλης Σούζα, στο νησί Κεσμ», ανέφερε το πρακτορείο, χωρίς να δώσει άλλες διευκρινίσεις για τυχόν θύματα ή ζημιές.
