Βενετία: Αύξηση ακόμα και στα 50 ευρώ στο ειδικό τέλος ημερήσιας εισόδου εξετάζει ο δήμος ως «φρένο» στον υπερτουρισμό
Από τα 5-10 ευρώ μέχρι τα 30 ή και 50 ευρώ ενδέχεται να αυξηθεί το ειδικό τέλος αυθημερόν εισόδου στη Βενετία, δήλωσε σε συνέντευξή του στην εφημερίδα «Gazzettino» ο δημοτικός σύμβουλος αρμόδιος για τον Προϋπολογισμό, τη Φορολογία και τις συμμετέχουσες εταιρείες, Μικέλε Τζουίν. Ανταπόκριση από την Ιταλία: Κρίστιαν Μαυρής «Το ζήτημα είναι το εξής: συνειδητοποιούμε ότι τα σημερινά 5-10 ευρώ είναι πλέον προσιτά σε όλους· ο κίνδυνος είναι να μην έχουν εκείνο το αποτρεπτικό αποτέλεσμα που θα έπρεπε να έχει αυτό το μέτρο» τόνισε ο Τζουίν. «Το αίτημα προς την κυβέρνηση για την επιβολή υψηλότερου τέλους εισόδου δεν έχει ως στόχο την είσπραξη χρημάτων» πρόσθεσε. «Ο τουρισμός είναι απαραίτητος, αλλά πρέπει να διαχειρίζεται έτσι ώστε η πόλη να είναι πιο βιώσιμη για τους Βενετούς» σημείωσε ο δημοτικός σύμβουλος της Βενετίας. «Είχε φτάσει να γίνεται λόγος ακόμη και για 50 ευρώ, αλλά ίσως να είναι 30» εξηγεί ο δημοτικός σύμβουλος της Βενετίας, προσθέτοντας πως «το σημαντικό είναι το πνεύμα: διότι αν ο στόχος είναι να αποθαρρυνθούν οι ημερήσιοι τουρίστες και όσοι έχουν έρθει στη Βενετία ήδη πολλές φορές και θα ήθελαν να την επισκεφθούν, για παράδειγμα, την 1η Μαΐου, τότε ένα υψηλότερο τέλος θα τους έκανε να προτιμήσουν μια εκδρομή αλλού». Σύμφωνα με τον Τζουίν, ο Δήμος της Βενετίας εξετάζει επίσης την επέκταση της περιόδου ισχύος του τέλους εισόδου. Μέχρι τώρα το χρονικό διάστημα ήταν περιορισμένο στην περίοδο από τον Απρίλιο έως τον Ιούλιο, όμως η επέκταση θα μπορούσε να περιλαμβάνει και τους μήνες Μάρτιο και Σεπτέμβριο. «Όλα πρέπει να γίνουν χωρίς να βλάψουν τις εγκαταστάσεις και τις δραστηριότητές μας, πρέπει να βρεθεί η σωστή ισορροπία», σύμφωνα με τον δημοτικό σύμβουλο, κάτι που φαίνεται να αντανακλά και αίτημα των ξενοδόχων της λιμνοθάλασσας, μαζί με μια αναπροσαρμογή του φόρου διαμονής για τους τουρίστες που διανυκτερεύουν, φτάνοντας τα 8-9 ευρώ για τα ξενοδοχεία 5 αστέρων. Πολωνία: Νεοναζί κατηγορείται ότι σχεδίαζε επιθέσεις σε τέμενος και σε σχολείο
Οι αρχές της Πολωνίας ανακοίνωσαν ότι απήγγειλαν κατηγορίες σε βάρος ενός άνδρα με διασυνδέσεις με νεοναζιστικές οργανώσεις για αδικήματα όπως ο σχεδιασμός επιθέσεων σε σχολείο και σε τέμενος. Οι εισαγγελείς δήλωσαν ότι ο Πάβελ Γκ., Πολωνός υπήκοος που γεννήθηκε το 2009 και του οποίου το επώνυμο δεν δημοσιοποιείται για λόγους προστασίας προσωπικών δεδομένων, συνελήφθη την Παρασκευή. Η πολωνική Υπηρεσία Εσωτερικής Ασφάλειας (ABW) δήλωσε ότι η σύλληψή του έγινε αφότου είχε ήδη ανακοινωθεί ότι τέθηκαν υπό κράτηση δύο 16χρονοι με τους οποίους είχε έλθει σε επαφή διαδικτυακά μέσω εξτρεμιστικών και νεοναζιστικών κύκλων στις εφαρμογές Telegram και Discord. «Συμμετείχε σε συζητήσεις αναφορικά με προηγούμενες τρομοκρατικές επιθέσεις και τους δράστες τους. Κάποιες συζητήσεις αφορούσαν επίσης τον σχεδιασμό πιθανών επιθέσεων. Οι συμμετέχοντες ανέλυαν τις μεθόδους που χρησιμοποιούνται από τρομοκράτες και θεωρούσαν τους δράστες πηγές έμπνευσης», δήλωσε η ABW. Ο υπουργός Δικαιοσύνης Βαλντεμάρ Ζούρεκ δήλωσε ότι οι στόχοι περιελάμβαναν ένα τέμενος και ένα σχολείο. «Δεν υπάρχει και δεν θα υπάρξει καμία επιείκεια για τον φασισμό, το μίσος ή τον σχεδιασμό αιματηρών επιθέσεων στην Πολωνία», δήλωσε ο ίδιος μέσω Χ.
