Καιρός: Πάνω από 25.000 κεραυνοί – Πού αναμένονται ισχυρές βροχές και καταιγίδες
Πτώση της θερμοκρασίας, καταιγίδες, χαλάζι και έντονη κεραυνική δραστηριότητα συνθέτουν το σκηνικό του καιρού, με περισσότερους από 25.000 κεραυνούς να έχουν καταγραφεί τις τελευταίες ώρες στη χώρα. Τα φαινόμενα αναμένεται να συνεχιστούν τις επόμενες ώρες, ενώ νέα επιδείνωση προβλέπεται από τα μεσάνυχτα και την Τετάρτη. Η παρατεταμένη καλοκαιρία έδωσε τη θέση της στις πρώτες ισχυρές φθινοπωρινές βροχές και καταιγίδες, με αρκετές περιοχές να βρίσκονται σε αυξημένη ετοιμότητα. Όπως ανέφερε η μετεωρολόγος του ΕΡΤnews Νικολέτα Ζιακοπούλου, ο καιρός είναι συμβατός με την εποχή, ωστόσο τα φαινόμενα σε ορισμένες περιοχές είναι έντονα και απαιτούν προσοχή. Η κεραυνική δραστηριότητα είναι ιδιαίτερα αυξημένη, καθώς έχουν καταγραφεί περισσότεροι από 25.000 κεραυνοί τις τελευταίες ώρες. Ισχυροί πυρήνες καταιγίδων εντοπίζονται στο Ιόνιο, την Ήπειρο, τη Στερεά Ελλάδα, την Πελοπόννησο και τα Κύθηρα, ενώ τα φαινόμενα αναμένεται να συνεχιστούν το επόμενο διάστημα. Στην Αττική σημειώθηκαν κατά τόπους μπόρες και έντονη κεραυνική δραστηριότητα, χωρίς ωστόσο να καταγραφούν μεγάλα ύψη βροχής. Παράλληλα, σημειώθηκε και το σοβαρό περιστατικό στην Ηλιούπολη. Νέα επιδείνωση από τα μεσάνυχτα Τα φαινόμενα αναμένεται να εξασθενήσουν σταδιακά το βράδυ στις περισσότερες περιοχές της χώρας. Ωστόσο, από τα μεσάνυχτα και κατά τη διάρκεια της Τετάρτης προβλέπεται νέα επιδείνωση. Ισχυρές βροχές και καταιγίδες αναμένονται κυρίως στη Χαλκιδική, τις Σποράδες, τη Μαγνησία και την Εύβοια, ενώ καταιγίδες προβλέπονται και στην Κρήτη. Στην Αττική, σύμφωνα με την πρόγνωση, ενδέχεται να σημειωθούν ακόμη κάποιες πρόσκαιρες βροχές έως τις απογευματινές ώρες, πριν από τη σταδιακή βελτίωση. Οι θερμοκρασίες θα παραμείνουν σε χαμηλά για την εποχή επίπεδα, με τον υδράργυρο να φτάνει έως τους 26 βαθμούς Κελσίου κατά τις μεσημβρινές ώρες. Από την Πέμπτη αναμένεται βελτίωση του καιρού και ηλιοφάνεια, ωστόσο το κρύο θα είναι αισθητό κατά τη διάρκεια της νύχτας και νωρίς το πρωί. Σε βόρειες και ορεινές περιοχές, οι θερμοκρασίες ενδέχεται να πλησιάσουν ακόμη και τους 0 βαθμούς Κελσίου. Νέα επιδείνωση με βροχές ενδέχεται να σημειωθεί την Παρασκευή στα δυτικά, με τα νεότερα προγνωστικά στοιχεία να αναμένονται τις επόμενες ημέρες. Ενεργειακή κρίση: Επιστολή Μακρόν για έκτακτη σύνοδο της ΕΕ – Τι απαντά η Κομισιόν
Αμηχανία επικρατεί στην Κομισιόν μετά την επιστολή του Γάλλου προέδρου Εμανουέλ Μακρόν με αίτημα έκτακτη σύνοδο του Ευρωπαϊκού Συμβουλίου για το ενεργειακό ζήτημα και τις τιμές των καυσίμων. Η Σλοβακία συντάσσεται με τη Γαλλία ενώ όπως μεταδίδει από τις Βρυξέλλες η Έλενα Αποστολίδου η Κομισιόν δέχεται πιέσεις από την πρωτοβουλία Μακρόν και ειδικά ως προς το αίτημα για μεγαλύτερη χαλάρωση των ευρωπαϊκών ενεργειακών κανόνων. Η εκπρόσωπος Τύπου για θέματα ενέργειας της Κομισιόν ήδη απάντησε ότι πολλά από τα αιτήματα Μακρόν βρίσκονται στο τραπέζι, ενόψει και του άτυπου συμβουλίου των υπουργών Ενέργειας την επόμενη Τρίτη στο Δουβλίνο, αλλά και της Συνόδου Κορυφής στις 15 και 16 Οκτωβρίου.
