Ρόδος: Σχεδόν 1.400 κρούσματα γαστρεντερίτιδας στο νοσοκομείο μέσα σε 40 ημέρες
Εκατοντάδες περιστατικά γαστρεντερίτιδας καταγράφονται στη Ρόδο από τον Ιούλιο ενώ μόνο τον Αύγουστο το νοσοκομείο δεχόταν 40 περιστατικά την ημέρα με τον Σεπτέμβριο τα κρούσματα να μειώνονται σε 30. Όπως είπε στο ΕΡΤnews ο λοιμωξιολόγος του νοσοκομείου Ρόδου, Στέλιος Καραταπάνης τα περιστατικά αντιστοιχούσαν σχεδόν στο ένα τρίτο των επισκέψεων στα επείγοντα ιατρεία, προκαλώντας σημαντική επιβάρυνση στο νοσοκομείο κατά τη διάρκεια της τουριστικής περιόδου. Τον Σεπτέμβριο παρατηρείται μείωση περίπου 20%, με τα κρούσματα να ανέρχονται πλέον σε περίπου 30 την ημέρα. Σύμφωνα με τον γιατρό, οι μέχρι στιγμής έλεγχοι δείχνουν ότι η έξαρση δεν συνδέεται με το νερό ή τα λύματα, όπως είχε αρχικά εκτιμηθεί, αλλά με ιογενή λοίμωξη και συγκεκριμένα με ιδιαίτερα μεταδοτικό ιό που προκαλεί γαστρεντερίτιδα. Η μετάδοση γίνεται εύκολα μέσω μολυσμένων επιφανειών, τροφίμων και της στενής επαφής μεταξύ των ατόμων. Παρά τον μεγάλο αριθμό κρουσμάτων, τα περισσότερα περιστατικά είναι ήπια και απαιτούν παραμονή στο σπίτι για δύο έως τρεις ημέρες. Νοσηλεία χρειάστηκαν κυρίως ηλικιωμένοι ή ασθενείς με υποκείμενα νοσήματα, οι οποίοι παρουσίασαν αφυδάτωση ή άλλες επιπλοκές. Οι ειδικοί υπογραμμίζουν τη σημασία της σχολαστικής υγιεινής των χεριών, ιδιαίτερα σε συνθήκες αυξημένου συγχρωτισμού, όπως αυτές που επικρατούν στη Ρόδο κατά την τουριστική περίοδο. Ρόφημα «No Police» υποσχόταν… σωτηρία από το αλκοτέστ – Στο μικροσκόπιο των Αρχών εταιρεία στον Κορυδαλλό
Έναν ευφάνταστο τρόπο είχε βρει ένας 59χρονος για να προωθήσει σκεύασμα που εμπορευόταν η εταιρεία του από τη Βουλγαρία, με παράρτημα στον Κορυδαλλό, το οποίο υποσχόταν ότι με την κατανάλωσή του μπορούσε να αλλοιωθούν τα αποτελέσματα στα αλκοτέστ. Ειδικότερα, μετά από σχετική καταγγελία μέσω του gov.gr, στη Δίωξη Κυβερνοεγκλήματος πραγματοποιήθηκε έρευνα, από την οποία ταυτοποιήθηκε ο 59χρονος ως διαχειριστής της ιστοσελίδας, καθώς και εταιρεία που αποτελεί θυγατρική εταιρείας με έδρα στη Βουλγαρία και δραστηριοποιείται στα σκευάσματα ευεξίας. Επιπλέον, ενημερώθηκαν ο Ε.Ο.Φ. και ο Ε.Φ.Ε.Τ. Κατά τον έλεγχο που διενήργησε κλιμάκιο του Ε.Φ.Ε.Τ. στην εταιρεία στον Κορυδαλλό, εντοπίστηκαν συνολικά 99 τεμάχια του συγκεκριμένου ροφήματος, τα οποία δεσμεύθηκαν για τη διενέργεια δειγματοληψίας και ανάλυσης. Παράλληλα, από την επιτόπια έρευνα προέκυψε ότι τα σκευάσματα δεν έφεραν ελληνικές επισημάνσεις, ενώ από την ανάλυση του Γενικού Χημείου του Κράτους διαπιστώθηκε ότι περιείχαν βιταμίνες σε ποσότητες έως και 6 φορές μεγαλύτερες από τα αντίστοιχα εμπλουτισμένα ελεύθερης αλκοόλης ποτά που έχουν εγκριθεί από το Ανώτατο Χημικό Συμβούλιο. Η δικογραφία υποβλήθηκε στην αρμόδια εισαγγελική Αρχή. Στις διαφημίσεις που έκανε η συγκεκριμένη εταιρεία στα social media ανέφερε πως το σκεύασμα περιείχε βιταμίνες C, B6 και πράσινο τσάι, καθώς και καφεΐνη. Μάλιστα, κυκλοφορούσε με διάφορα ευφάνταστα σλόγκαν, όπως «ΕΧΕΙΣ ΠΙΕΙ ΞΥΔΙΑ ΚΑΙ ΘΕΣ ΝΑ ΜΗΝ ΣΕ ΠΙΑΣΟΥΝ; ΝΟ POLICE ΡΟΦΗΜΑ», προκειμένου να προσελκύσει όσους ήθελαν να πιουν και να αποφύγουν τις συνέπειες ενός αλκοτέστ.
